GROUP

  1. What was your big take-away from Revelation 7? What stood out to you?

  2. Who are the 144,000 (Rev 7:1-8)? Who makes up the “multitude” (Rev 7:9-17)? How are you able to identify them? <Note to leaders: their identity, when drawn from other sources besides the Bible itself, leads to crazy and weird beliefs. This is not a throw-away question, this is an “interpret the Bible with the Bible” question.>

  3. Why do you think the Holy Spirit took a “break from the action” that started in chapter 6 to insert this content of Rev 7? Why this parenthetical interlude?

  4. How do these promises of heaven encourage you personally (Rev 7:15-17)? How do they motivate you to share the Gospel / invite to church? How do they affect the way you think of loved ones who have died in Christ?

BREAKOUT

Pray for each other.
