Melissa Howells has been attending Harvest Bible Chapel since 2014. She is passionate about seeing kids’ lives changed and directing them to Christ. Melissa has served in the Children’s Ministry, at Harvest, since 2015 and loves working with kids! She and her husband, Russ, have 4 kids - Ross, Avalyn, Brooklyn, and Jack - whom Melissa homeschools.
Here at Harvest, we want to come alongside the parents in discipling their children (helping others following Jesus).
We currently have 6 classes for your child. Below you will find a description of each class.
Nursery (0 - 18mo) and Toddler (18mo - 3yrs.)
Our nursery and toddler rooms are for our youngest kids and are offered at both services. Our adult and student volunteers will provide your kids with a clean, safe, and loving place to play and learn about God’s creation.
Elementary (Preschool - 6th grade)
Our elementary classes are available for both services. During this time kids will participate in Answers in Genesis curriculum, where they will learn about God’s word. Our adult and student volunteers provide a safe and fun environment for your kids. There will be time for singing, a lesson, and discussion about God’s word.
All of the volunteers have child abuse, criminal, and FBI clearances and go through training to ensure the safety of your child!
So please, sit back, relax, and enjoy the sermon! Your child is in good hands!
