CAN WE BORROW AN ITEM LISTED IN THE RESOURCE CENTER?
The short answer is yes, but we'd prefer that you check out our Lending Library (coming soon!). We have more books, DVDs, CDs, Bible Studies, and other resources available to our entire church family. We use this as a "mobile" library of sorts, where anyone can checkout an item and then exchange it between the lender/owner and the borrower at the next most conveinent Sunday church service.

Some have said that forgiveness is the most difficult commandment we are given as Christians. And why is that? Perhaps it is because it strikes at the core of our pride that says we deserve better than we are getting. Or, does it seem that if we forgive, we are letting that person “win” in a situation that hurt us in some way. In this short booklet, Pastor Jeff Miller shows us where the rubber meets the road; at the very heart of why we want to forgive others. Forgiveness is hard, but it must be the very essence of who we are, and we are called to do hard things.

It is God’s desire that His children live in victory over the painful experiences in life. That is certainly true in the death of a loved one. There is a time to grieve, but there is also a time to stop grieving. This booklet presents practical steps you can take to find victory over the loneliness of a life-changing loss.
What Every Heart Longs for. What Every Church Can Be.
"Infighting, backbiting, heartbreaking, frustrating ... church. Though exceptions do exist, the reality is that church in America is failing one life at a time. Somewhere between pathetically predictable and shamefully entertaining, sadly sentimental and rarely authentic, church has become worst of all ... godless. Vertical Church points to a new day where God is the seeker, and we are the ones found. In Vertical Church God shows up, and that changes everything. If you want to experience God as you never have before and witness His hand at work, if you want to wake up to the first thought, ""Thank God it's Sunday,"" if you're ready to feel your heart beat faster as you drive to your place of worship ... then devour and digest the lessons of Vertical Church."
God wrote a book. There’s something very powerful in that simple statement---especially when you realize He wrote it to you and me, sharing His thoughts and His heart with each one of us. But not everyone believes that. In fact, you’ve probably been asked why you are so bent on following God’s book . . . believing it and doing what it says. For those times, here’s affirmation to bolster your faith and a reasonable response for you to give to others who are asking legitimate, intelligent questions about what the Bible is and what it can do for them.
Why Does Life Have To Be So Hard? Driven by his personal suffering in his own extended trial, James MacDonald determined to find out what God's purposes in trials might be. 'When Life is Hard' is a first-hand account of his discoveries. You will find: Five questions to ask during times of trial -What to do when trials are rooted in failed relationships - Practical ideas for achieving reconciliation and healing - Choices you can make in a trial - How joy can be a logical response to suffering - Four common responses to suffering and why you should avoid them - And an exercise regimen to help you prepare for and grow through trials. God has not abandoned you! He is watching you closely, monitoring your situation and offering His strength when yours is gone.
Is a vibrant faith only a distant memory? When did God last take you to the mat with the reality of His holiness? In "Gripped by the Greatness of God", James MacDonald tackles powerful passages from the Old Testament book of Isaiah and inspires you to blow the dust off your picture of God and worship Him with passion and intensity.
"Daddy, I'd like you to meet my children." That's Robbie Castleman's attitude about taking her children to church. She believes that Sunday morning isn't a success if she has only managed to keep the kids quiet. And she knows there's more to church for kids than trying out their new coloring books. Children are at church for the same reason as their parents: for the privilege of worshiping God. Worship, Castleman writes, is "the most important thing you can ever train your child to do." So with infectious passion, nitty-gritty advice and a touch of humor, she shows you how to help your children (from toddlers to teenagers) enter into worship.
How to Change Your Husband by Faith
"Husbands need to be changed and their wives know it! But 1 Peter suggests that where the most dramatic change is needed, a husband is impacted by his wife without a word and simply by example. James MacDonald lovingly exhorts wives to do their part and trust God for the rest.
How to Change Your Wife by Faith
You were feeling it when you said, “I do.” But now . . . you want to know how to spark the passion, fan the flame, and feel that fire again. God knows men and gave them one verse with six things that, if done consistently, will totally and radically change your wife and your marriage.
Find out how you can put your family relationships in top-priority position every day for the rest of your life. Because if you get family right, you can be happy no matter what else is going wrong. James MacDonald takes you into God’s Word and shows you the biblical principles of how to love your family first. From making the commitment to expressing it and living it out in practical ways, you can experience this truth; love never fails.
