“I don’t get mad, I get even.”

“Revenge is a dish best served cold.”

“I’ll treat you the way you treat me.”

An “eye for an eye”, right? Isn’t that in the Bible?

It is. But in our day as in Jesus’ day, it was grossly misinterpreted and misapplied. How can we be intentionally offended and not “get even”? This goes against everyone’s natural inclination! Fair is fair, right? We can’t let people get away with it!

Or are Jesus’ disciples called to a better way of living?
