How Is Melchizedek's Priesthood > Levitical Priesthood? (Hebrews 7:1-10):
- Levitical priesthood was for Israel / Melchizedek's priesthood was for Everyone . (Heb 7:1-2a)
1 John 2:2 - He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.
John 1:29 - The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, "Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!..."
- Levitical priests could never be King / Melchizedek was Priest and King . (Heb 7:2b)
- Levitical priesthood was Hereditary / Melchizedek's priesthood was Personal . (Heb 7:3a)
